I took the beginner class. Highly recommend it.
There is still space in the Wednesday afternoon Gentle Yoga at the Victoria Centre. It is an excellent way to increase you overall strength and flexibility and is designed for beginners and all levels.

An update on the construction outside of the Victoria Centre. You are not able to make a left hand turn off Quadra on to Caledonia. Caledonia between Vancouver and Quadra is closed. To access our mail parking lot you can drive through and turn right into our lot. This is expected for the next 3 days.

Both hard copies will be available for pick up at our Centres, available on our website www.silverthreads.ca and you can sign up on the website to receive the newsletter by email each month.
Beginning Thursday you will be able to sign up for Registered Programs online! Visit the program page of our website for the link to the portal.

The City of Victoria is beginning construction at the corner of Caledonia and Quadra in front of the Victoria Centre to create a Pedestrian Plaza. Currently you are not able to make a right hand turn off of Caledonia on to Quadra, we expect impact to our access to be minimal during construction. For more information on the project see our May newsletter.

There was an air hose on that corner to count how many people turn that corner, and very few vehicles used it. Most went straight to turn onto Blanshard. So the area that's not being used, will now be used another way.
