Thank you to Peggy, our Soup Social and Host-est with the Most-est. Every Thursday Peggy comes into the Victoria Centre, serves soup, facilitates lively conversations and even does all the clean up!
Thank you to Peggy and the team of Food Security Volunteers for all you do in both Centres to address Food Security! Your contribution is appreciated.

Meet the Leaders of our Sports Programs at the Saanich Centre!
Mike Seal provides support to the Pickleball Programs.
Tat Ma coaches Table Tennis.
Mark Baxter guides the new Badminton Program.
All of these Coaches share the love of their sport with others, provide a safe, supportive environment for beginners and more experienced players alike to hone their skills. With their leadership participants keep physically fit while having fun with others.

Special Thanks to the United Way BC for sponsoring a Networking Event for staff and volunteers of Community Based Senior Serving organizations in the region. Staff from James Bay New Horizons, Beacon Community Services, BCACR and Silver Threads planned the half day event that focused on Diversity and Inclusion followed by an energetic Speed Networking session and lunch. It was a great opportunity to connect, learn and recharge.
The next event will be in Fall 2025!
