Today we are paying respect to beloved actress and animal lover Betty White. This would have been her 100th birthday and in respect to that we are joining the "Betty White Challenge"

We, along with many other fans and organizations, plan to pay homage to the late actress and comedian by donating to an animal shelter or rescue mission in her name.

The movement, which has been dubbed the #BettyWhiteChallenge on social media, will pay tribute to White while also helping animals in need. The challenge asks fans to pick a humane society, local rescue or animal shelter in her memory and donate $5 in her name.

The project will continue to the end of April and it is our intention to remain open during this time. We ask for your continued patience as we maneuver through construction (and COVID).

Sad but completely understandable.

What better way to start a new year than by learning techniques to manage feelings of worry, stress, or feelings of hopelessness? Learn strategies from the Canadian Mental Health Association to reverse negative habits and rebuild happiness with Living Life To The Full!

Perhaps you want to be more mindful or try out the calming and centering practice of meditation. In Mindfulness Meditation each week you will be guided through a mindfulness activity to get you more in tune with yourself and living in the moment as well as a guided meditation.

Both classes will be offered this January at our Victoria Centre, so please call 250 388 4268 if you are interested in participating!
